To the southeast is a 32' dock with 8'x8' 'private patio' on the end for fishing or relaxing with your favorite book. The dock is next to the small, private beach with fire pit. A gas grill is provided near the cabin entry for your outdoor cooking convenience. You are greeted inside the main living space by a full kitchen, with a functional island. Above the granite-topped, single vanity hangs a willow-framed mirror and makeup mirror for your convenience. The master bedroom faces due east, so if you don't wish to greet the sun in bed with your first morning cup of coffee or tea, you'll need to draw the blinds. It has a closet and a custom, queen sized, pine headboard with night stand. An air conditioner is provided for those rare warm summer evenings, with baseboard-heating providing additional warmth in the winter, early spring and late fall months. The second bedroom also has a queen-sized bed with closet, night stand and additional storage. Baseboard heating and air conditioning are also provided for your comfort. A three-season porch sits on the other side of 8' of glass with sliding door, as you face lakeside from the main living area. The home has keyless entry , so there is no need to check in, just drive up at your convenience and use your personal door code to enter or lock up, The property is owned by two sisters, Melanie and Laurel. Laurel lives nearby, making it convenient if you need assistance or have questions. There is a 22 ft pontoon with 50 hp motor available for rent at $150 per full day of your stay. The rental fee for a week long stay from Saturday to Saturday would be $900 (6 full days x $150). Pontoon rental is calculated by the duration of your stay only. Firewood is provided. The home is located on a wooded, dead end road and is a favorite for scenic walks with plenty of nature sights and sounds. There is a quaint seating area with a beverage bar and an additional small refrigerator off the kitchen. This area will become your favorite spot for morning coffee or to read a good book later in the day. There is a large 8 seat table and a 4 seat counter in the dining area, so everyone in your party can share meals together. The main floor has windows across the entire lake side of the house and a large deck off the kitchen, so you will have constant lake views. There is a gas grill (and a charcoal grill upon request) and a patio set on the main floor deck. The deck is shaded by mature birch and oak trees and is perfect for listening to the loons. The large family room downstairs has a large gas, stone fireplace and several large windows providing views of the beach and lake. The lower deck is off of the family room and has several Adirondack chairs and a two seat rocker for lounging as you relax lakeside. There is a double hammock for taking a pleasant afternoon snooze. The family room has a TV with Hulu, high speed internet, board games, puzzles, movies, books, and toys. A folding table with 4 folding chairs are on site for your use , plus larger tables, available upon request, for crafting. The home has 4 bedrooms, with comfortable beds and premium bedding, and sleeps 12 people. Bedroom 1 has one queen bed and two sets of twin bunk beds allowing 6 to sleep in this room. This bedroom is on the main level and next to a large bathroom with a tub and shower combination. There is a private deck off of this bedroom for quiet time away. A small bedroom, with one single bed, is a walk through bedroom off the kitchen. There is a pocket door for privacy. A third main floor bedroom, has a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top. A 4th bedroom has a queen bed and is located down stairs next to the bathroom. This bathroom has a large walk in shower. There is a pack 'n' play for younger sleepers. There is a new washer and dryer in the down stairs laundry room and even an old fashioned clothes line outside. Natural laundry soap is provided. To protect the quality of the lake water, all natural cleaning products and natural laundry soap are used to clean and wash linens and towels. All natural shampoo and conditioner, natural dish soap, laundry and hand soap are provided. There are several fun attractions in the area. Pine Ridge Golf Course is located on the west side of the lake and there are several beautiful courses at Brainerd area resorts. There are a 2 state parks, a dirt bike park, snowmobile trails, bike trails, horse back riding, Camp Shamineau, pig races, car races, a military museum at nearby Camp Ripley, a fishing museum, 2 zoos, and a go cart park, to name some. An amusement park for children, Paul Bunyan Land, is south of Brainerd. There are several good restaurants and bars nearby the lake. Brainerd and Little Falls are within 30 minutes and Nisswa, known for it's boutique shopping, is within 40 minutes. There are several micro breweries and a winery near Brainerd and Nisswa areas.

Lake Alexander, Fish Trap Lake, Shamineau Lake and Pine Ridge golf course are within 15 minutes. Brainerd is 35 miles to the northeast. Summertime fun: boating, fishing, swimming and golf. Wintertime fun: Ice fishing, cross country skiing, snowmobile trails and hunting close by. Ski Gull is located 25 miles away. Group bookings: We can add camping and RV sites to your cabin rental. $20.00-$60.00 a night. Electric hook-ups but no dumping on site. Out house on site for campers. THE CABIN is located on Round Lake. A wonderful sandy bottomed lake with excellent fishing.. The property encompasses 13.5 acres and 600 feet of lakeshore. The main cabin sits 25 feet from the lakeshore allowing a wonderful view of the lake. The Main cabin includes vaulted knotty pine ceilings, a bunk room that sleeps four, a master bedroom that sleeps two and a loft that sleeps two adults or a bunch of children. The loft area has two skylights and a view of the lake. The smaller cabin faces the woods and pond. In addition there is a small cabin for 1 to 2 people. It faces the woods and pond and offers a quiet place to retreat from the main cabin. It has a day bed with a trundle bed and a small table and offers a place to retreat from the main cabin. The property has 100' of developed lakeshore with lots of space for relaxing and playing. For children, there is a large sandbox and toys for building sandcastles. There is a dock for fishing, boating, and swimming, and a swim raft for sunning, swimming, and relaxing. . You have access to a kayak, paddle boat, and a row boat with an electric motor. For family gatherings, there is a large fire pit, lots of lawn games, plenty of yard space to pitch a tent, a swing set for the kids and a screen tent to enjoy the scenery no matter the weather. It offers plenty of space and privacy for your family gathering.

Good hunting, public hunting land nearby, good lake for water skiing which was our family fun-time. It's also right next to MN State snowmobile trail for extra winter fun. Peace and quiet abound in this up-north getaway. Pets are welcome. There is a dog kennel attached to the garage. Groomed trails throughout the woods. Two full bathrooms. Two kitchens; upstairs and down. Two decks. Ample parking. There's an old 14 ft boat you can take out with an electric motor, or bring your own. This is not a walkout to the lake as there are steps down. Good exercise and a beautiful view, but not good if you have bad knees. There's not much of a beach as it is pretty rock but usable. The water drops off quickly and is 5-6 ft deep at the end of the dock. There is a floating swim platform for your use. Bring mosquito repellent as some years they can be bad. In 2018 they were virtually non-existent but it depends on the spring weather.
